What are Dark Spirits?

WARNING: Personal beliefs are SACRED and should always be respected. If you have been taught about dark spirits from religious teachings, and this information doesn’t resonate with you, please skip reading this post. Remember that you are loved and your life path is sacred. Always follow what your heart tells you.

I grew up Christian, as many people do, but as the years went by, my ability to sense the presence and emotions of The Creator caused some problems for me; mainly being that the loving Spirit I had daily interactions with-didn’t seem to fit some of the things I was being taught about him/her.

In fact, the contrast of information (my experiences vs what I was taught by other people) was so opposing to each other, that when I was in my early 20s, I gave up. I stopped talking to God altogether and it was a dark time for me.

The message from The Creator was clear. “Stop listening to what people tell you about me. Let ME teach you what I’m about.”

And boy did I listen! Wholeheartedly! Every day since that day, I have rejected anything told to me that didn’t fit what I felt to be true in my heart. I LOVE stories! I have always enjoyed and learned from stories others tell, but from then on, I only took on beliefs that I personally experienced. If I wasn’t sure about something, I just mentally set it aside for later. If you sincerely seek the truth, it WILL find you one way or another.

All that being said, I will now get to the point of the post: The origins of Dark Spirits (also known an inhuman spirits or demons). Before I begin, it must be stated that the spirit world is vast and complicated beyond our imaginings. If you think you have a good grasp on it (and I’m including myself in this), I can guarantee you have a LOT more to learn. In my Ghosts Like Bacon book series, I had a chapter about my theories on things, including dark spirits. Being unable to hear my archangel spirit guides like I do now, I could only surmise that dark spirits must be very old and twisted, earthbound human spirits, but boy was I off on that one. That being said, here is the newly updated information my archangel guides taught me (telepathically) about these beings.

Everything is energy and everything has a form. Even what we might think of as invisible-always has a form. No one knows this better than my daughter, who has been seeing energy in all its forms since birth. Even the air we breath has color and shape to it, she tells me.

Emotions are powerful energy. Though most seem to appear “fog-like” according to my daughter, some are far too strong for even this form.

When a person feels a very intense emotion of fear, hatred, or despair—that emotion, when coming in contact with the force of the human energy field and the force of the subconscious mind (also very powerful), it can sometimes result in the creation of a new energy form known as an “energetic parasite”.

This form is small at first; no bigger than a pinto bean, and floats in the air around the person who unknowingly created it. It has an intelligence that is borrowed (but entirely separate) from the person’s subconscious mind; like a bad copy or recording of the original. The parasite starts out very weak and it’s beginning intelligence can be likened to that of a germ (which isn’t very smart in the least).

The parasite’s only instinct is to feed. It can stay with the person who unknowingly created it for a while, feeding off their fear, hatred or despair, but most eventually leave and float toward whatever or whoever is throwing out the “tastiest energy”. This could be a neighbor across the street, or someone the person passes at a grocery store for instance. The parasite attaches itself to whoever feeds it the best and the most.

The parasite also vibrates with whatever emotional frequency created it. While attached to a human, it not only absorbs the human’s energy, it throws out its own (fear, hatred, despair)—small amounts at first, but increasing as it gets older.

And here lies the problem. Energetic parasites AGE. And WITH age comes an increase in intelligence. Imagine how smart you would be after hundreds to thousands of years of existence. And what if you were not human and were not limited to any set of beliefs —and you exist in the spirit/energetic world, seeing and hearing all that humans can and cannot see?

The more years that pass, the stronger, smarter, and more psychic these beings become. At age 300 plus, they can cause severe depression and dark thoughts in humans. At 800 plus, they can cause your hair to stand on end with fear. And as they get to be 1,000 years old or more, they can develop strong psychic abilities, including telepathy, and the ability to lift and throw heavy objects. The ancient ones can even control the actions and speech of humans they attach to (what is standardly called possession). They can also appear in a variety of forms and even impersonate human spirits and spirit guides (this is why it’s important to keep a close relationship with Archangels at all times. They will keep you safe from tricks like this).

Seems scary right? Well, not really. These dark spirit parasites are truly just that-PARASITES. If not given the energy they need to function (fear being the best source of energy), or if they are faced with LOVE frequencies instead of fear, they become weak and unable to function. And because they lack souls, soul energy, and even a chakra system, this leaves them entirely dependent on humans for energy.

As stated in my post “The Source”, which I highly recommend reading, humans are all connected by our soul energy, which is SOURCE ENERGY, which is the literal SOURCE of love. We humans are like cells in the body of the creator, which has created literally everything—which means—that we possess within us—“THE LIGHT”—the power of Source itself. These parasites know this, but most humans don’t. This means that by calling on that Light inside of us (our soul energy), we have the power to literally disperse dark spirits back into neutral energy (I call it recycling. Haha!).

I personally LOVE working with Archangels and if you ask them to, they will take energetic parasites out in 1-3 seconds, but all of us need to be aware that the same Light that animates and gives power to Archangels, exists also in us. Of course, as incarnated humans, we don’t possess the wisdom or skill Archangels do, but they have assured me that by simply focusing on and directing that Light of Source inside ourselves AT the dark spirit, we have the ability to literally “recycle” these beings back into “neutral air.”

Being a Harry Potter fan, this always makes me think of Dementors and the Patronus charm, which sent them packing. One time, a couple years back, feeling a dark spirit come onto my property, I felt righteous determination rise inside of me and it resulted in something amazing. I saw with my inner eye-a misty wolf. It jumped out of my chest and tore around the corner with such speed, that I heard it’s nails on the floor, just like a real animal. It took off after the dark spirit and it was no more. At the time, I always assumed it was an angel, but later on, I found out that the wolf was actually my SOUL POWER, which absolutely amazed me.

Think about this information for a minute. And think about how much fear has been installed in us about these beings through various teachings over the years—which has only served to FEED these beings further.

Do you see what I’m getting at? It’s time we take back our Source-given power and know that we are NOT victims of dark spirits. We are a treasured and powerful collection of souls all making up the body of The Creator. And our souls are immortal! We have nothing to fear! Our only mission is to remember who we are, to give love at every opportunity and to learn as much as possible.

And THAT is priceless and eternal.
