We were used to spirits moving objects around our house, but something happened one day that seriously surprised us.
Kiani had a necklace she wore often. It was a little, green fluorite amulet, which I gave her to help with focus and concentration.
One day, she was playing a board game with a friend who was visiting our house. I’ll refer to him as “Jason”. During the game, Jason complained about his lack of focus lately, especially in school. His complaints made Kiani’s lack of focus seem like nothing in comparison.
The next Sunday, I took Kiani shopping with me at a Target down the street. Later that night, we noticed that her amulet had vanished, along with the chain it was on. I assumed it must have broken off during the day, while we were out. I wasn’t too upset about it, since I owned a few other stones that would do in a pinch. I told her not to let it bother her, and we went to bed.
A few days later, Jason came over again to play. As he stood there, talking to us, I noticed he had a necklace on. When I looked closer, I was shocked.
“Oh my God!” I exclaimed. “That looks just like the necklace Kiani lost a few days ago!”
Jason grinned. “Isn’t it cool? I found it on the floor at Target.”
“The Target just down the street?” I asked.
“Yep.”
“Was this last Sunday?”
“Yes, actually.”
I could hardly believe it. It wasn’t a common amulet. The chances of someone with an identical crystal and chain dropping theirs at the same Target on the same day was extremely slim. It had to have been Kiani’s.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” I said, obvious wonder in my voice.
“Kiani lost hers,” I explained to him, “and we were there the same day. I think you’re meant to have it!” I smiled at him.
His eyes got huge for a moment, and he smiled back.
“Wow, really? Well, I guess so, then!”
This amazed me so much that I started thinking seriously about all the incredible “coincidences” in my life. How many of them weren’t coincidences at all?
I believe that humans have Guardian Spirits (angels), but what if that wasn’t all? What if we have a whole bunch of gentle spirits working on our behalf every day? What if our spirits communicated with and worked with other people’s companion spirits?
I had heard of spirit guides but had never thought much about my own or my daughter’s.
Perhaps it was high time.
I purchased a recommended book about connecting with your spirit guides, and two days later, it was in my mailbox. Excited, I snatched it out and brought it inside, placing it on my coffee table before walking into the bathroom.
As I washed my hands, I looked up and there, on my vest, was a little, white feather.
I had read somewhere that angels leave feathers as a form of communication. I thought of that as I looked at it, shrugged, then set it aside to think about later.
Soon after this, I experienced something that completely blew my mind and explained the meaning of the feather.

I plan to publish my blog as a book one day soon, but for now it’s all right here.
I don’t know of classes, but there are some wonderful Facebook groups; for spiritual enlightenment and for parents of psychic children.
There are also some great books on Amazon on the subject of spirit guides. I would read through the reviews and see what resonates with you. 😊
